The maximum file upload size is 10GB. We suggest avoiding videos larger than 1080p resolution since 1080p is the highest quality we currently support for streaming. Uploading videos with higher resolutions won’t improve streaming quality, as we don’t plan to support higher resolutions in the future. So, uploading files above 1080p might take more time for you and our servers without adding any benefit.
If you edit your content on a computer, we recommend trying Handbrake. It’s a free, open-source tool that efficiently compresses videos. One handy feature is the fast 1080p MP4 preset, which helps reduce file size while keeping good visual quality. This makes uploading quicker without losing much clarity. OpenShot is another video editor we find useful.
We’ve also noticed that videos longer than 40 minutes can sometimes have audio and video sync issues, which might cause processing problems. To help avoid this and improve playback quality, we suggest splitting longer videos into smaller parts, ideally no longer than 30 minutes each.
